Warm Weather: Las Vegas

Because the list of artists’ names that are now getting residencies in Las Vegas is more extensive and even more relevant, Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars are a few examples, so does Sin City’s credibility as an entertainment landing spot. So be sure to catch a show while there.

But, since temperatures are pleasantly cooler around this time of the year, this is also the best US place to go exploring off the strip. Want to see some geological wonders? Head over to the red-tinted Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area. Street art? Go downtown. Mafia fanatic? Don’t miss the Mob Museum with its in-house distillery.

Cold Weather: Philadelphia

Autumn’s crisp weather and changing leaves provoke visitors to take a stroll around the City of Brotherly Love. Home to Benjamin Franklin, when you’re not visiting historical attractions like the Liberty Bell Center or Independence Hall, head over to Rittenhouse Square or Wissahickon Valley Park to unwind and watch passersby.

If you enjoy attending various events, consider coming here during Thanksgiving when the Philadelphia Marathon, one of the US’s most popular marathons, and the 6ABC Dunkin’ Donuts Thanksgiving Day Parade is going on. This is the oldest Thanksgiving parade in our country. This “best US place” is also one of America’s most visited cities with its rich historical heritage. After all, both the Declaration of Independence and the US Constitution were signed in Independence Hall.
