Lion Country Safari is divided into 7 distinctive wildlife regions. It’s also the only drive-thru safari in the sunshine state and the first in our country. If you choose to visit, you’ll get to meet African lions, chimpanzees, and wildebeests, along this drive-thru wildlife safari.
But it doesn’t end there. Your next stop is SafariWorld. It’s a fantastic amusement park where visitors can take a boat ride on the Safari Queen, play miniature golf, take a dip at Safari Splash, or ride the Ferris wheel.
There are even a few exhibit talks and performances at their animal theater.
Wolf Spotting, Minnesota

Visit the Voyageurs National Park or Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness for your best chance at wolf spotting. Northeast Minnesota’s Superior National Forest spreads over 1.2 million acres and has over 1,000 rivers, lakes, and streams.
You can also take a self-guided tour of Voyageurs National Park. But you’ll only be able to reach it by canoe or motorboat.
Pro Tip: You can also spot Moose in this area, taking a dip in one of the lakes.
