Garth Woodside Mansion: Hannibal, Missouri

The claim to fame of Hannibal, Missouri, is its most famous former resident, Samuel Clemens, AKA Mark Twain! Two of Twain’s childhood friends used to live at this historic bed and breakfast.

But nowadays, the property serves Mark Twain Bourbon in his honor and a vast collection of wines. You can even stay in the room he used to sleep in when he visited this place, which has the initial Carrera marble fireplace and three 10ft windows.

All of this property’s rooms have private baths, and most of them also have fireplaces. The cottages on-site offer private decks with hot tubs, microwave, and convection ovens, and a mini fridge with water and sodas. You’ll also be served homemade breakfast every morning.

Worth Noting: Garth Woodside Mansion has been rated number 1 in the state for the past few years!
