The Restaurant at the Raleigh

Tommy Hilfiger acquired the Raleigh in 2014 with plans to turn the classic property into a private social club, and the menu at its signature restaurant aims to be true “Miami American,” showcasing the latest locally sourced fresh fish and produce with a global flair.



David Grutman, founder of LIV and Story nightclubs, partnered with Jeffrey Chodorow’s famed eatery China Grill on this sexy, high-end Southeast Asian spot in the white-hot Brickell neighborhood. The enormous space serves stunning dishes like Lobster Dynamite—crispy sushi rice topped with lobster, quinoa and scallions.

The chef chooses what you eat at this intimate, prix fixe–only restaurant featuring Japanese fare served up at a communal table, and seats are very hard to come by. The Shabu Shabu—vegetables and real Japanese wagyu beef—quickly “swished” in a steaming light kelp stock, are as fresh as it gets.
