Scale the heights of the Medieval Wall Walk and enjoy spectacular 360 degree views across Lincoln, follow in the footsteps of prisoners in the Victorian Prison experience, and immerse yourself in the story of Magna Carta in our widescreen cinema. And finally, 800 years after it was sealed at Runnymeade, see Magna Carta, the document that changed the course of history, in the Magna Carta Vault. Specialist private guided tours of the castle’s inner bailey for up to 30 visitors at a time of your choice are also available. The team is on hand help you plan your itinerary in advance so that your visit runs smoothly from start to finish and your members have an unforgettable day out. Your group leader and coach driver will also be given a free ticket, which can be used on another visit. A sample itinerary for a group purchasing the All Inclusive ticket might include:

10.00am – Coaches drop off at Lincoln Castle’s nearest coach drop off point. The coach drop off point is approximately five minutes’ walk from the castle.

10.30- 11.30am – Private guided tour of the castle’s inner bailey.

11.30-12.30pm – Visit David PJ Ross Magna Carta Vault, watch the films and see Magna Carta and Charter of the Forest in the document vault.

12.30- 1.30pm – Enjoy lunch in their onsite cafe, Langton’s

1.30- 2.30pm – Visit the Victorian Prison: explore the lives of the Victorian convicts and discover the extraordinary separate system chapel.

2.30-3.30pm – Walk along the battlements of the castle’s mighty curtain wall and enjoy the audio guide that dramatically brings to life the stories of Lincoln Castle.

3.30-4.00pm – Afternoon tea in Langton’s

4.00-4.30pm – Browse in the castle’s gift shop or take a stroll in the grounds.
