When to Go
Shillong is a year-round destination. Summers are mild with March and April being ideal, and monsoons are a great time to visit the waterfalls. The months of October and November are cool enough to enjoy a winter getaway.

While some of the offerings are acquired tastes, it does have a few chicken and vegetarian options. Try the lunch platter to sample a bit of everything, and do head there early, or you might not get any food.
