Lanikai Beach, Oahu, Hawaii

We already know that Hawaii is a tropical utopia with numerous sandy stretches. But few can compare to Lanikai Beach, which translates to “Heavenly Ocean,” on the windward coast of Oahu.

It’s rated as one of the most stunning beaches in the US and has some of the warmest water, varying from 77 to 82 degrees.

Who’s This Warm-Water Beach For: A laid-back family vacation

Things To Do: The clear, calm waters are excellent for snorkeling.

Where to stay: Even though you won’t find any hotels on Lanikai Beach, Prince Waikiki in Honolulu is a fantastic option just 10 miles away.

  1. Guam isn’t on the “LIST”? 76 to 88 degrees all year. I “suffered” a rare 73 degree night and thought I was going to freeze.

  2. Charlotte Aschoff

Why isn’t Puerto Rico included? It is part of the USA! Its beaches are among the most beautiful in the world.
