Coronado Beach, San Diego, California

This California shoreline in “the crown city” is truly one of the best beaches in our country. While visiting, you can enjoy white sandy, Pacific coast living mixed with all the luxuries of San Diego’s outdoor magnificence.

Coronado Beach is a great place to spend your vacation. You can walk the water’s edge for miles if you’re feeling active. It’ll take you along adorable little shopping districts and various eateries.

But if you just want to relax, you can lounge by the pristine water for some much-needed R and R time.

And even though this is a popular location with both locals and tourists, it won’t ever feel too crowded because there’s plenty of space to stretch out, and you’ll have all the comforts of a beach trip.

The city also has a beautiful neighboring dog park if you decide to bring your pooch. And overall, everything is easily walkable in this area, making for an ideal place to spend your time off.

Cumberland Island, Georgia

From the incredible camping opportunities to the Carnegies, Cumberland Island is one of the most unique places in America. This national seashore is a sanctuary for wildlife. You’ll find wild horses and loggerhead turtles right on the sand.

And you can take a leisurely hike through the island’s oak-tree-shaded interior for your chance to see some deer, armadillos, hogs, turkeys, rabbits, and raccoons.

One of the best things about this stunning location is that since the only way to get here is by ferry ride or boat, it’s never overcrowded. And once you arrive, you’re greeted by 17 miles worth of sandy shores to pick from.

Malibu, California

This famously beautiful seaside city lies about 20 miles away from downtown Los Angeles. And with so many options in this California area, deciding which sands to visit can be complicated. So let’s break it down.

Zuma Beach stretches for 2 miles and has many strong surfing waves and whale-watching possibilities. As the name suggests, Surfrider Beach is one of the most popular surfing spots and it’s also located near the Malibu Pier.

A bit north of Zuma, El Matador State Beach will give you unforgettable views of cliff formations. And last but not least, Point Dume State Beach is an equally worthwhile stop.

Here, you can take a leisurely hike on the short trail at the Point Dume Nature Preserve to snap a few pics of the perfect vista of the Pacific Ocean and its surrounding mountains. That all might have just sounded overwhelming, but we promise…they’re ALL worth visiting!

Virginia Beach, Virginia Beach, Virginia

There’s a good reason this is the title beach for the state. Virginia Beach is one of the best in our country! This outdoor dream is where many people spend their warm months with good company and the most amazing vibes.

A long pier stretches from city life far into the depths of the water, with a charming and leisurely walk.

After a lovely stroll through all the restaurants and boutiques here, you can pick your perfect spot and set up shop to relax for the day as you enjoy the kind of vacation Virginia Beach is well-known for.

The kids or grandkids can play in the soft waves that crash into the shore, and adults can kick back and enjoy some peace and quiet as they rest under the shade of a beach umbrella. But don’t think that this is all Virginia has to offer.

You can also work up a sweat or try your hand at a new hobby. There are paddleboard rentals, and you can also try to surf! The options are limitless. You’ll definitely want to keep coming back for more!
