Wild Animal Safari, Georgia

Just 78 miles south of Atlanta in Pine Mountain, you’ll find Wild Animal Safari. It’s the perfect escape for city dwellers who dare to… drive on the wild side! Throughout several miles, you’ll get the chance to see tigers, American bison, hyenas, and much more.

And don’t worry if your car isn’t equipped for an animal adventure. You can rent one of the park’s zebra vans. You can even take the sit-back-and-relax approach to the tour on this wildlife safari by jumping aboard the guided tour bus, which is included with your admission ticket.

Buffalo Safari Jeep Tour, South Dakota

If you want to see an abundance of wildlife Custer State Park is the place to be. This beautiful area is home to pronghorns, buffalo, and elk, which live on the grassland’s 71,000 acres.

Visitors on this wildlife safari can do a guided tour in an open-air jeep or drive in their own car on an 18-mile Wildlife Loop Road. Be sure to look out for prairie dogs, as well.

Fun Fact: The American buffalo can run up to 40 miles an hour.
