Wildcatter Ranch: Graham, Texas

Located in the heart of North Texas Hill Country, the Wildcatter Ranch is a very popular destination for those who enjoy life outdoors. Their lodging suits every need, from guest homes, hotel rooms, and cabin suites for romantic couples and families with children.

Many activities are available at this farm destination, including horseback riding, clay shooting, archery, and much more. You can even go tomahawk throwing and ranch roping or learn about the ranch’s history on a guided tour with a 4×4.

Kinnikinnick Farm: Caledonia, Illinois

The kiddos are more than welcome at this family-friendly farm destination that’s set just outside of Rockford.

When you arrive, you’ll check into their tents and get the lay of the land before an airhorn announces the commencement of evening chores, at which point the youngsters are invited to head to the chicken house and collect some eggs.

A farm-fresh feast is brought to your tent for dinner and breakfast. And then it’s off to feed the pigs, visit the donkeys, and milk the goats!

Willow-Witt Ranch: Ashland, Oregon

You can think of Heritage Farm in Indiana as your own personal petting zoo. This animal lover’s heaven is home to more than 70 alpacas, a black labrador, 7 barn cats, 4 goats, a flock of chickens, 2 Great Pyrenees, and a horse.

ABC Acres: Hamilton, Montana

If your everyday life revolves around an iPhone or a laptop, a change of pace is waiting for you at Stony Creek Farmstead, located 200 miles north of Manhattan.

While here, you’ll be milking cows in the morning, collecting eggs for breakfast, touring the farm destination come afternoon, and cooking pizzas in a brick oven for dinner.
