Mount Washington Cog Railway: From Bretton Woods, New Hampshire

On this trip, you can admire the scenic views from 6,288 feet at the summit of Mount Washington, which has been running for more than 150 years.

This three-hour roundtrip East Coast fall foliage train ride operates two vintage steam locomotives, allowing riders to visit five states, Canada and the beautiful Atlantic Ocean.

After your Autumn foliage journey, jump out and explore the visitor center at the summit to catch sceneries from the observatory and stroll through the interactive weather museum.

The Mount Washington Cog Railway gives you a unique perspective of fall’s magnificence as you ride the first mountain-climbing cog railway worldwide to the summit of Mount Washington.

To get the finest views on this ride up the highest peak in the Northeast, we recommend timing your trip for October when New Hampshire’s famous foliage collection is at its best.

Green Mountain Railroad: From Chester, Vermont

Vermont is well-known for some of the most dazzling displays of fall foliage in the United States of America. So, an East Coast fall foliage train ride here would be one of the best in the nation.

The Green Mountain Railroad in Chester is a two-hour roundtrip picturesque ride for the entire family. While on it, you can even book the four-course dining experience on the dinner train.

If not, you can make a pit stop at Okemo Mountain Resort for an unforgettable overnight stay.

The east side of the united states has the most beautiful fall time foliage that I have ever seen. The tree leaves are very pretty and coordinated and they blend in so well with every color. what a marvellous sight to see.

Great information, now how about lodging and nearby transportation/directions to the locations for all of us who don’t live in the area.
    Peace
