11. Ellison’s Cave – Georgia
For experienced adventurers, Ellison’s Cave presents a more extreme challenge.
It contains some of the deepest vertical drops in the continental United States, including Fantastic Pit—a 586-foot freefall descent. This cave is not for casual tourists and requires advanced technical caving skills.
