Sri Lanka’s first design hotel has been built according to nature’s golden ratio, with freestanding suites spiralling around the hillside like the coil of a shell, from the lake shore to the vantage point at the top where a watertower houses the last three rooms.
A mirror-calm infinity pool stretches out above the lake, with pops of yellow towels and parasols jazzing up the crisp concrete architecture of the restaurant.
