I’ve done all the work for you and rounded up some incredible suggestions for you, from brightly painted houses to endless fields of flowers. Full of enchanting colors you won’t see just anywhere, here are 12 of the most colorful destinations with vibrant views you can find around the USA!

The bluebonnets of Texas Hill Country, Kingsland, Texas

The bluebonnet is this state’s official state flower, and if you happen to be in the Texas Hill Country during the months of March and April, you’ll understand why.

This colorful destination comes alive in the springtime with delicate white and bluebells, making for a downright magical drive through the Lone Star State. These blooms are so stunning and popular that they have their own Facebook pages.

Havasu Falls, Grand Canyon, Arizona

Arizona may be our country’s most colorful state, with the breathtaking Havasu Falls surging within the Grand Canyon.

The waterfall itself has an approximately 100-foot drop, spouting down into a stunning pool of bright blue water at the bottom of the falls. This colorful destination has become a very sought-after place for those camping in the nearby area on the Havasupai Indian Reservation.

But you’re in for a real treat if you head over to Wooden Shoe Tulip Farm in Woodburn. It’s one of the biggest tulip farms in the Northwest. You’ll get to witness acres upon acres of land bursting with color during the annual tulip festival, which takes place from the end of March to the beginning of May.

Waimea Canyon, Hawaii

Meromictic means a lake in which the layers of water don’t intermix. I know it sounds confusing, but trust me when I say that your trip will be worth it! This is a very rare natural wonder.

The water of this colorful destination maintains such a crystal-clear and vibrant emerald shade because the lake doesn’t experience any turnover. The state park also features a beautiful beach that will allow you to swim in the colorful water, with plenty of scenic hiking trails surrounding the lake.

Morning Glory Pool, Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming

Situated inside Yellowstone National Park, this colorful destination is made up of layers upon layers of lively colors. The hot spring keeps that vivid color all throughout the year due to bacteria, very seldom ever bursting as a geyser.

The only sad part, though, is that even though the spring holds a unique color, throughout the years, it has unfortunately become damaged due to people throwing objects inside of this incredible natural wonder.

French Quarter, New Orleans, Louisiana

Bet you didn’t think you’d see NOLA on this list, did you? Well, the truth is that the French Quarter in New Orleans is famous for being one of the best places in the country to eat, drink, party, and simply have a good time.

But those making the pilgrimage to this fantastic city would be remiss if they didn’t take the time to stroll through the French Quarter beyond Bourbon Street.
