
9. Columbia River Gorge – Waterfalls and Wildflowers
Spring brings life to the Columbia River Gorge. Snowmelt from the Cascades feeds dozens of waterfalls cascading down moss-covered cliffs. Multnomah Falls, the most famous in the region, is especially powerful this time of year.
Wildflowers also begin blooming along hiking trails, adding bursts of color to the dramatic landscape.
