New Style Bandung
Bandung is growing rapidly and new things are constantly popping up, from new parks and green spaces to unique tourist attractions. Let’s explore modern Bandung!
People today seem more concerned about taking pictures than enjoying the journey itself. It might be cool to posting a selfie at an iconic landmark and there’s nothing wrong with that. Photos and social media have become “good friends” while travelling, and Bandung is trying to develop destinations with fascinating views that looks artistic and Instagramable. Like Farmhouse Susu Lembang.
I found out about this place from social media, of course. This one-stop destination offers a beautiful ambiance that combines European, American and New Zealand style. From the moment you step inside the farmhouse, you will forget that you’re in Lembang, Bandung. Selfie hunters will be pleased because every corner of the farmhouse is perfect for taking picture. After hunting photos, you can sit and relax while enjoying lunch at Asado Restaurant. Then continue your exploration at the animal barn and interact with a bunny or even a friendly deer.
Parks and Recreation
Bandung has a different vibe these days, as it grows and thrives under its excellent mayor, Ridwan Kamil. Bandung has become more artistic and public spaces are being actively developed. A concrete example is the city parks developed by local governments. More than 10 parks in Bandung have been created to serve the community and its various groups. There’s Taman Fotografi, which is perfect for photography lovers, and Taman Petpark, where people can come with their pets. Taman Balaikota is situated inside the City Hall complex, and just around the corner is Taman Dewi Sartika, which attracts visitors with beautiful flowers and Cikapayang River.
