Join The Best Luxury Hotel In Greece

November 16, 2016 · Greece

If you thought Sani Resort already had it all, think again. Greece’s much-loved family getaway on the stunning Kassandra peninsula has added I yet another dimension to its all-encompassing portfolio: a hotel for adults and grown-up families, set apart from the younger (slightly more high-spirited) crowd. Set in the vast family-owned eco-reserve with its pine-cloaked hills, ancient olive groves, peaceful wetlandssani-resort and five miles of golden sand, Sani Dunes is hotel number five and ultimately a product of guest feedback.

This is the answer to those who have requested a respite for couples and grown-up families: a peaceful haven, out of bounds for children under 12.

Set on the water’s edge, the location is aptly serene; the look is contemporary chic; the vibe, laid-back Mediterranean, and the facilities are set to be the usual Sani sublime.  There are 136 rooms, 80 of which are super-spacious open-plan suites, and all decked out using handcrafted furniture, natural wood and colourful fabric. There is the requisite private beach, a variety of child-free pools, complimentary personal training available from 9am to 6 pm, a dreamy spa by Anne Semonin complete with couples suite and Thai massage cabin, plus, a trio of bars and restaurants including one overseen by a yet-to-be-disclosed Michelin-starred chef.

Those under 12 might not be allowed over the threshold of Sani Dunes but there is no tit-for-tat. Guests can break out of their quiet cocoon and enjoy the rest of the resorts superb facilities. From the vibrant marina lined with shops, restaurants and cafes, to the water-sports centres, the new (adult-free) chill-out lounge for teenagers and the launch of yet more teenage-friendly activities to complement the brilliant football, sailing and dance academies, everything is on your doorstep.

Sani Dunes is the place for parents who have done their time: those who are no longer needed to build sand castles, stand in goal for hours or pick up Play-Doh. You’ve made it through the early years, albeit to the trials and tribulations of teenagers and beyond* but for some suspended reality and real R&R, Sani Dunes is one for the 20 17 grown-up wish list.
