For many, many people, this is what they imagine when they conjure up the image of an Irish pub.
Jack Meades (under the bridge) – Set on 5 acres of impeccably kept lawns, this sprawling complex boasts a number of bars. But there is also a modem bar, and an extensive beer garden looking down over the gardens and streams. And good quality food is served here throughout the day.
The Bierhaus – There are over 220 different beers to choose from here, including 6 rotating guest draught taps and a cask. And they spend as much time on getting the atmosphere right as they do on choosing their beers.
Dolan’s Pub and Restaurant – Dolan’s is made up of three venues, two outdoor areas, a traditional Irish pub and a restaurant. So there’s music here every day of the week, and they’ll serve you your breakfast, lunch and dinner as you re quire. Some of the many guests who’ve enjoyed their hospitality include Kasabian, Franz Ferdinand, Sharon Shannon and Imelda May.
