Must See Places is a travel archive. We write about landmarks, cities, coastlines and landscapes across six continents, and about the practical business of actually getting to them — what a ticket costs, when the crowds thin out, whether there is a step-free route to the entrance.
What we publish
Nearly two thousand articles, organised by destination. Some are guides to a single place. Many are comparative round-ups — the coastal towns worth a detour, the train routes worth taking slowly, the national parks that reward an off-season visit.
We are not a booking site and we do not sell trips. Nothing on this site earns us a commission on a reservation. We are a reference you consult before you go.
Who writes it
Must See Places is produced by a small editorial team rather than a roster of bylined travel writers. That is a deliberate choice: our articles are researched, drafted, checked and updated as a process, often by more than one person, and attributing that to a single name would misrepresent how it happens.
Our team uses AI tools as part of research and drafting. Every article is reviewed by a person before publication, and factual claims — opening hours, entry fees, transit connections, accessibility provision — are checked against primary sources. We describe how that works in our Editorial Policy.
How we pay for it
