The Best, Little Known, Nightlife Bars In Singapore

While in Singapore, you might want to check out some night scenes for you night owls that no one knows about.  A speakeasy tucked away in a corner or really cool bars patronized by locals in the area but others no little about.  The next time you visit this wonderful city, check out some of these unique bars prepared by experts from CFC.

The Rabbit Hole:

For the fantasy lover, walk through a foliage tunnel loaded with little fairy lights and you will come to the Rabbit Hole.  This lovely bar is tucked away in the middle of luscious Dempsey Hill. Rabbit Hole caters to concoctions made from gin and you can choose from 15 different offerings.  The various gins are in separate categories from Elegant, Complex, Floral, and the Mysterious.  Each one of their drinks are uniquely garnished to fit the particular flavor of the gin.  They also offer a nice selection of tonics, including their own in-house brand.  Their location is absolutely gorgeous to walk through during the evening hours.  While in the garden you will be served some very tasty snacks including a charcuterie platter and crêpes.

Operation Dagger:

You enter into a rather dark corridor and stairway that escorts you into a bar with unique drinks made from unlabeled bottles.  You are never quite sure what you will be served but there is no doubt you are going to love all of them.  Locals have been enjoying these mysterious drinks with no complaints.

The Secret Mermaid:

And a well-kept secret it is!  Hidden in the basement of the Ocean Finance Center, The Secret Mermaid is quite mysterious.  When the world of business has shut down for the night, this wonderful bar is up and running.  Patrons are offered an excellent selection of exclusive American spirits and nicely tucked away.  If you have never been there, you wouldn’t know it was there.

The Spiffy Dapper:

This bar is a much loved by many people who are passing through or live nearby.  Located on the second floor of an Amoy Street shop, its elegant cocktails are to die for.  Their drinks are favorites with a large range of patrons from students to bankers, and everyone else.

The Spiffy Dapper is open from Monday through Friday 4:00PM until 12AM and Saturday to Sunday from 8PM until 12:00AM.  They are located at 73 Amoy Street, Singapore 069892 – phone number 8722 4953.

The Library:

This is one of the very first speakeasies to open in Singapore and it still takes a password to enter.  This is one of the favorite features that patrons have loved for years. 28 Hong Kong Street:

This speakeasy is no longer the only one on the block but is still a favorite among patrons.  It has been rated as the Best Asian Bar and Best Cocktail Bar in Singapore.  With its huge reputation and enormous fan-base, this is a must to visit.  They have the best staff, great music, and delicious bar snacks like their Truffle Mac & Cheese Balls.  They serve only the very best cocktails and is a wonderful place to visit while out on the town.
